Bad girl Lindsay Lohan certainly has cause to pout after recent allegations of vicious bar brawl surfaced, but perhaps the actress has gone slightly to far trying to perfect her pose.

As her father, Michael, was forced to come to his daughter’s defense after rumours of a slanging match in LA - the 25-year-old actress stepped out with swollen lips, sparking rumours she may have gone too far with plumping injections.

As well as sporting swollen lips the actress looked like she had a double chin as she was heading out in LA yesterday.

Lohan was at club Smoke and Mirrors with her father a quarrel erupted after clubbers made fun of Lohan's clubbing buddy.

It apparently resulted in a drink being thrown at Lohan.

Today Michael Lohan told The Celebrity Cafe: 'There were some people dancing around her and people trying to get to her and I was keeping them away. I heard commotion behind me.

'And the girl said something and Lindsay cursed and the other girl threw a drink at her and that was it.'

Witnesses reportedly claim Lindsay then called her father Michael Lohan for help, who showed up and accompanied his famous daughter inside the nightclub, where the pair are believed to have spent time with no alcohol.

However the website claims that after hearing a snide comment made by a fellow club-goer about her turning up with her father, Lindsay allegedly shouted at the woman to ‘shut the f*** up’.

The woman then apparently threw a drink on the troubled star, whose father quickly whisked her out of the venue.

Meanwhile, RadarOnline are reporting that Lindsay is not planning to talk to police about the incident, despite them being keen to get her perspective on what happened.

A source told the website: 'Law enforcement had been in contact with Lindsay's attorney last week, and they wanted to formally interview her.

'The lead investigator was told that Lindsay wasn't going to be made available at this time though. She is under no obligation to be interviewed, but Marisa, her friend and the bouncer who witnessed the alleged assault, have all been formally interviewed by cops.'
