Kirstie Alley seems to be looking svelter every week we see her and yesterday the actress slipped her slimmed down figure into a gorgeous Roland Mouret dress.

She was spotted leaving the Greenwich Hotel in Tribeca, New York City, in the Myrthra denim-crepe dress, worth £1,220, alongside a pair of leopard print heels and chunky gold bracelet.

But despite looking years younger than her age, the 60-year-old's hand was a dead give-away of her maturity.

And unfortunately her gold bracelet only brought more attention to the veins protruding through her skin.

After enjoying a short trip to The Hamptons over the weekend, Kirstie returned to the Big Apple ahead of filming her new movie Syrup.

She tweeted on Saturday: ‘Woo hoo! In the Hamptons @Lacoste event. Wish me luck at the cooking comp with chefs @LexingtonBrass and @Catch_NYC… I film tomorrow on a movie called Syrup.’

The comedy, set to be released next year, is centred on two twenty-somethings trying to make it to the top of the soda industry’s corporate ladder.

Kirstie plays Pepsi’s CEO in the film, which also stars Amber Heard, Shiloh Fernandez and Kellan Lutz.

The Dancing With The Stars runner-up has been showing off her new body in a series of flattering dresses lately and last week appeared on The View to discuss her weight-loss.

‘I lost 60lbs before [the show] and 30 during’, she said, which she credits to her own weight loss programme, Organic Liason.

She added: ‘I don’t think I could have made it through Dancing with the Stars without it.’

But she still has further goals in her sights and is trying to squeeze into a dress for her upcoming Italian holiday that she claims has a 22inch waist.

‘I tried it on and I can almost zip it up,’ she told America’s Life & Style magazine… I’ll be my target by then.’

Since finishing her stint on the US reality dancing show, Kirstie has still been dancing almost every day with the help of her former dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy and rumoured toy boy Ted Volynets.

And the former Cheers actress also has another role in an upcoming film Nailed, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Jessica Biel and Catherine Keener.

Although it hasn’t yet been given a release date, Nailed is a romantic comedy based around a small town waitress who gets a nail accidentally lodged in her head causing unpredictable behaviour that leads her to Washington DC, where she meets a senator who takes up her cause.

Sultry: Kirstie Alley tried on some new glamorous outfits to show off her newly slim figure at Chez Moi Boutique in New York yesterday 6


She has lost a staggering 90lbs in the past year and Kirstie Alley is clearly relishing her slimmer look.

The 60-year-old actress treated herself to a spot of retail therapy yesterday to celebrate her weight loss and buy herself some new evening gowns.

The Cheers star hit up Chez Moi boutique in Queens, New York where she tried on dress after dress that showed off her newly svelte physique.


Clearly having regained her self confidence, the first dress Kirstie tried on was a sultry black leather strapless mini dress with gold metal studding.

The curvaceous star paired the tight-fitting cocktail dress with cropped black leggings for a more conservative, but edgy look.

SHe also rocked a pair of nude suede peep-toe stilettos with matching studding to set off the look.

The second of the dresses was a vibrant, hot pink and bright red floor length satin gown which was perfectly on point for this season's colour-blocking trend.

The dress perfectly showed off Kirstie's slimmer waist and arms.

Her final choice was a more relaxed beach-style ensemble which consisted of a black off-the-shoulder flamenco dress with a tight fitting top half and loose ruffled skirt at the bottom.

For a splash of colour she accessorised with a bright turquoise belt and an oversized floppy straw hat.

All three of the outfits were hand picked for the actress by the store's owner.

Kirstie has lost an amazing 90lbs in the past year, a feat which was achieved through diet and excercize as well as her recent performances on Dancing With The Stars.

She had lost 40lbs before joining the show but managed to drop another 50lbs since the show began.

Fat Actress no more! Kirstie Alley showed off her weight loss after squeezing into a tight red dress for a night out in Los Angeles yesterday


She claims not to have weighed herself for the past four weeks, but the effects of appearing on Dancing With The Stars are clear to see.

Kirstie Alley stepped out last night in a corseted red dress which highlighted her newly-slim physique.

And while the former Fat Actress star acknowledges she still has a long way to go, she says she is thrilled with her ever-shrinking frame.


She said recently: 'I haven't weighed myself in the last four weeks. I bought these dresses from a size twelve (UK size 16) to a two (UK size 6). Tonight I'm a six (UK 10). When I'm a two, I'm done, people!'

Kirstie was celebrating in Hollywood last night after narrowly escaping elimination on Dancing With The Stars after the public voted to send Petra Nemcova home.

After making it through to next week's show, Kirstie thanked fans for voting for her and dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy and tweeted: 'Yay!!!!!!'we live to dance another week!!!!!! My sex stick and I are happy!!! Woo hooo!!!!'

Kirstie is clearly feeling a lot more confident about her body now, and showed off her slim waist in a jumpsuit with a sheer waist panel as she performed the foxtrot to the track American Woman.

The former Cheers star said before starting her Dancing With The Stars journey that one of the main reasons she was taking part in the show was to shed the pounds.

She told US Weekly magazine: 'I've lost 60 pounds, and I have 30 or 40 more to go.

And I think with this strenuous, rigorous dance schedule, I think it's going to work.'

Kirstie documented her battle with the bulge in reality TV show Kirstie Alley's Big Life last year, and was seen tipping the scales at 16st 4lb (230lb).

But, after she was filmed on the verge of a tantrum on the programme, Kirstie vowed to get down to a slender 9st 7lb through diet and exercise.

Kirstie knows she has the ability to slim down, as she was seen proudly parading her bikini body on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2006 after losing five stone.
