She's got a figure that most women would die for.

And now Denise Richards has revealed the secret behind her slim figure - specialist weight loss trousers.

The 41-year-old actress was photographed wearing a pair of Zaggora Viva HotPants - believed to also be favoured by stars including Tess Daly - as she went for a run in Los Angeles earlier this week.

The mother-of-three finished her outfit off by wearing her long blonde hair tied in a loose side ponytail, and clutched a bottle of water to ensure she stayed hydrated throughout her workout.

Just as with the original HotPants and the rest of the Zaggora range, the summer bright Viva HotPants range target the thighs, stomach and bottom, and claim they can help wearers lose two jean sizes in two weeks.

The shorts work by increasing perspiration - and the manufacturers say the results have been 'lab-proven' by scientists, after researchers from the Chelsea School of Sport at Brighton University found weight loss to be four times greater in subjects who exercised wearing the HotPants.

The core temperature in HotPants increased by an average of 18 per cent compared to the control, they found - with the effects ongoing after activity has ceased.

And Dessi Bell, Founder of Zaggora and the brain behind the product's advanced technology, said: 'We wanted to develop new products that our customers really wanted. Nothing is more powerful than putting customers in the driving seat.

'So, that is exactly what we have done and we are so proud of the results. Happy calorie burning!'

She's 41-years-old and has given birth to two children so you would think her body might look different to when she was a teenager.

But Denise Richards is still in amazing shape and looks at least half her age in her latest set of bikini snaps.

The actress donned a pretty aqua bikini to pose for some snaps and it is hard to believe just how toned she is.

There's not a muffin top or a spot of cellulite in sight on the mother-of-three and she has a figure that most women much younger than her cannot achieve.

Denise, who is now on good terms with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen, was seen working her body into a series of alluring, and perhaps a little cheesy, poses for the summer shoot.

The light bikini complemented her glowing sun-kissed skin and she let her long hair fall down around her shoulders.

It isn't just her body that is looking youthful, Denise's face also appears free from wrinkles or sun spots.

Of course the actress may well have had help in post production with a little airbrushing, but even so it would be hard to claim she isn't stunning and in great shape.

Earlier in May Denise made her reunion with ex Richie Sambora official at the Midnight Mission's Golden Heart Awards.

Denise has two daughters Sam and Lola, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen and she also has one-year-old adopted daughter Eloise.

At the time, she said: 'I'm naturally thin and I feel I'm a good weight for my body (she's thought to weigh 117lbs, or 8st 5lbs). For me, losing the weight wasn't that difficult. I was lucky.

'I didn't work out for five hours a day. I had to wait six weeks before I could do anything after my babies because I had a C-section each time. I took it very slowly getting back into it.'

New mum - again: Denise Richards looked tired but happy as she jetted into New York from LA with newborn adopted daughter Eloise

With a famous mother jumping on planes at a moment's notice, it's a lifestyle that baby Eloise Joni will soon have to start getting used to.

And although she may only be six-weeks-old, she appeared to take her very first public trip in her stride.

The newborn, who was recently adopted by actress Denise Richards, snuggled into her new mother as they jetted in to New York last night.

She was very well-behaved and gazed up at her new mother as her sisters Sam, 7, and Lola, 6, from Denise's marriage to Charlie Sheen, fussed around her.

The actress, 40, looked a little tired, but it couldn't have been an easy flight with two young girls and a tiny baby to look after on the six hour flight.

It comes a day after Denise hosted a celebratory 'baby shower' gathering at Beverly Hills' Montage Hotel, with guests including Tori Spelling, Lisa Rinna, Mel B, and Nancy O'Dell.

The star is in New York to promote her new biography, The Real Girl Next Door.

But she intends to mix business with pleasure and has planned to take her children to see the Lion King while in the Big Apple.

The Wild Things actress and former Bond Girl, who took Eloise into her care the day she was born, recently opened up about the new addition to her family.

'She's brought so much joy, and I love her to pieces,' she told America's Us Weekly.

'She is a cuddle bug. She loves being hugged and held. She's such a beautiful little baby and little soul.'

She also revealed that her ex Sheen, whom she talks to every day, is thrilled for her.

'Charlie is truly very happy for me,' said the star, who is currently single. 'He knows I always wanted more kids.'

She also revealed it was a difficult and complicated process.

'Some people think if a celebrity wants a baby, they get one the next day. The adoption took two years, and there were times I felt discouraged, times when I got close to adopting a baby and it fell through.
