And last night Katie Piper showed that as well as using her story to help others, she has also become a trendsetter in her own right, with fans taking beauty and fashion tips from the 28-year-old star.
Katie arrived for a fake tan party in London looking stunning in a summer brights outfit, but all the attention was on the former model's gorgeous chestnut hair.

The charity campaigner's sleek locks fell in tumbling curls around her shoulders as she posed up for photographers at the event, held at the London Film Museum.
Katie opted for a cute outfit of patterned shorts, a bright yellow T-shirt and suede yellow heels for Now magazine's Smart Girls Fake It party, to promote the publication's campaign with Fake Bake to educate women in how to properly look after their skin and avoid sunburn this summer.
And Katie had clearly prepared herself for the occasion, sporting a chic bronze shimmer on her legs.
