Strictly Come braless: Nancy Dell'Olio leaves her underwear at home but it's not a good look

Not a good look: Nancy Dell'Olio decided to wear no bra to the Bad Sex in Fiction Award event tonight

She may have admitted to having Botox to keep her looking young but there's one sign of age Nancy Dell'Olio can't hide.

The 50-year-old Italian American made a fashion faux pas tonight when she decided to go braless in public.

Wearing a green glittery jumper, Nancy mingled at the Bad Sex In Fiction Award event and it was pretty obvious that she'd left her underwear at home.

Catching up: Nancy and Barbara Windsor seemed to be getting on very well at the literary event

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant made matters even worse by wearing the clingy garment with a pair of skintight wet-look trousers and over-the-knee suede boots.

She wore her dark hair in a high bun and didn't seem bothered at all about her assets dropping quite low.

Nancy spent time hugging and laughing with former EastEnders star, Barbara Windsor, and the pair even spent some time with Rachel Johnson.

Public speaker: Barbara gave a speech at the event which saw U.S. author David Guterson scoop the dreaded prize

Barbara opted for the smart look wearing a long black blazer and trousers with a black and white striped shirt.

The actress brought along her husband Scott Mitchell who also dressed up in a suit for the occasion.

Barbara gave a speech as she presented the award at the annual event held at the In and Out club in St James Square.

But she looked like she was having an equally better time with Nancy and Boris Johnson's younger sister, Rachel, as they posed for photographs.

Close pair: Nancy gave the British actress a huge hug and seemed to have a lot of time for her

The trio looked like the best of friends at the event which saw author David Guterson scoop the dreaded literary prize.

Previously won by Tom Wolfe and Norman Mailer, the Bad Sex in Fiction awards the author of the year’s 'most embarrassing passages of sexual description in a literary novel.'

The U.S. writer won the prize for his novel, Ed King, but was unable to attend the event.

You're not on the dancefloor anymore! Nancy Dell'Olio lets it all hang out in theatrical attire

By Nadia Mendoza

Strictly come festive: Nancy opts for seasonal colours in her rich red dress and heavy black fur coat

She may have been evicted from Strictly Come Dancing, but Nancy Dell'Olio isn't ready to surrender her dancefloor gowns.

The 50-year-old opted for a garish red dress that struggled to contain her curves and wouldn't have looked out of place on the BBC One show.

Dell'Olio was hosting the seasonal festivities at Mount Street in Mayfair, London, turning on the Christmas lights tonight.

Sven-Göran Eriksson's former flame left little to the imagination in the revealing number, braving the cold as she opted to go without tights.

She elevated her height by several inches with a pair of Christian Laboutin's iconic red sole skyscraper heels.

Together with plenty of bling, including a large pair of drop earrings and several bangles, the reality star battled the chill in a Cruelle de Ville coat.

Since bidding farewell to Strictly, the Italian-American has been relishing her resurrected stab at fame.

Last week, Nancy opened the adult Erotica 2011 festival, billed as the 'world’s biggest adult lifestyle show'.

She squeezed into a black PVC dress for the occasion, posing alongside several bare-chested men at the London Olympia annual event.

Working hard then? Nancy Dell'Olio has a break as she switches on the Christmas lights at Mount Street, London

Erotica spokesman, Savvas Christodoulou praised Nancy, saying: 'In our opinion she exudes glamour and sexuality.

'She has embraced the eroticism of dance, the theme of Erotica 2011.'

Earlier this month, audacious Nancy also revealed women are usually jealous of her as they want to be like her.

Seasonal cheer: Nancy enjoys the festivities as she braves the cold minus her tights

During an interview with the Evening Standard, she said 'Of course they are (other women are jealous). I mean just look at me!

'The majority of women want to be like me. It is very sad, jealousy is something that just doesn't belong to me so I don't understand it.

'I think this is something women are not really very good at. We need to stick together.'

New found fame: Nancy has catapulted into the spotlight again after Strictly stint

'I can wear an eight-year-old's clothes': Strictly's Nancy Dell'Olio on her dramatic weight loss

By Lauren Paxman

Spot the difference? Nancy Dell'Olio claims to have dropped to a size four since she started training for Strictly Come Dancing. Here she is pictured before (left) and now

Nancy may have been booted off Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday, but she is certainly not going to go down quietly.

First came the news that the Italian property lawyer was writing not one but two books and was going to star in her own TV series to cash in on the fame that her dancing has generated.

Next came revelations of an ongoing spat with the judges who kicked her off Strictly. And now Nancy is complaining that the show has made her lose her famous sexy curves.

The former girlfriend of one-time England soccer manager Sven-Goran Eriksson says that she has dropped to a size four because of all the dancing and fitness training she has had to do since she was first paired up with Anton du Beke.

Closer magazine reports that Nancy told friends: 'The last thing I want is to look like a boy!

'I'm losing my bum and my breasts and I hate it. I can fit into my eight-year-old niece's clothes.

The 50-year-old, who is clearly used to being the centre of attention, added: 'I've hardly been getting any wolf whistles when I walk past building sites and even taxi drivers aren't staring at me in the rear view mirror.'
What is a woman to do?

Working hard: Nancy was put through her paces on Strictly but it was all to no avail, she was kicked off the show over the weekend

The look Nancy is aiming for: Sven-Goran Eriksson's former squeeze was used to wold whistles in the street when she had these enviable curves

The answer for Nancy has been to start a heavy carbohydrates diet so that she can start putting the weight on.

Closer's source added: 'Nancy is used to every man under the sun fancying her, now she's worried that she's losing her magic touch.'

There is a silver lining though.

Now that Nancy can fit into children's clothes at least she can save money on VAT.
