I work out! Jodie Marsh films her new bodybuilding show on Muscle Beach in Los Angeles yesterday

She shocked fans when she entered a bodybuilding competition back in October and it seems Jodie Marsh isn't over her latest career move yet.

The 33-year-old glamour model was spotted filming scenes for her new show at Muscle Beach in Los Angeles yesterday and was of course showing off her muscular figure.

Jodie - who came fifth in the Natural Physique Association Bodybuilding Championships - clearly took a short break from her intensive workouts but was glad to be back on form as she tweeted this week: 'By the way. I'm ripped again. And I'm so in love with my 8 pack :-) Can't stop looking at it in mirror. Haha.'

Showing off! The 33-year-old couldn't resist flexing her muscles on the sand

Proving she's got a lot of discipline, the British star spent a lot of her time dangling from gymnastic rings at the well-known spot situated on Venice Beach.

As she swung around in the sun, Jodie wore a bright pink crop top, black stretchy briefs and matching legwarmers.

Her bright red hair was pulled up in a messy style, and the skimpy outfit highlighted her various tattoos.

Not got head rush yet? The Essex star showed off her skills as she hung upside down for a long time

Jodie - who became interested in bodybuilding back in 2009 - is filming the new fitness show for the Discovery Channel and was joined by a female fitness instructor who looked just as disciplined as the Essex star.

The blonde woman wore a blue and black striped top as she accompanied Jodie on the equipment and helped her reach her full potential.

Although Jodie was trying her best to remain subtle as she worked out, she couldn't resist striking a few poses on the sand and admitted that she is in the best shape of her life.

Skimpy attire: Jodie wore a pair of black briefs and a pink bikini top as she worked on her six pack

Jodie was obviously trying to keep the work trip low key but after being 'chased by five paparazzi' was more than happy to 'let the cat out of the bag.'

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant seems to be excited about her future in the U.S. and yesterday tweeted: 'Things are def getting better & better. Had a Hollywood agent take me on yesterday. Reckons he can do big things in USA for me :-) #exciting.'

On top of the world: The redhead admitted that she is in the best shape of her life

And it isn't the first time that she has worked out Stateside as at the end of January 2010, she was featured on LA Muscle TV in an hour long show called Six Pack in Four Weeks.

Jodie's work on the show, resulted in a photoshoot for Muscle and Fitness magazine, which obviously led to her serious interest in the sport.

Jodie looked completely unrecognisable after undertaking a gruelling diet and exercise regime which saw her go from a size 10 to a tiny size six last year.

Speaking about her new figure at the time, Jodie said: 'This is the best I’ve ever felt, and the best my body has ever felt too.

Emotional: Jodie Marsh broke down on This Morning today as she recalled how bullies nearly drove her to commit suicide at secondary school

She's spoken previously about her difficulty when she was bullied during her time at secondary school.

But the pain of the bullying is still very raw for Jodie Marsh, who broke down in tears on live television this morning when she recalled she was nearly driven to suicide by the constant teasing at her school.

Jodie, who admitted she was 'terrified' when girls began kicking footballs at her head, made the admissions ahead of her Channel 5 documentary, Bullied: My Secret Past.

She said: 'My bullying at school changed my life. I only do what I do now because of being bullied. I decided to become a model to prove to my bullies that I wasn't ugly.

'After I broke my nose in a hockey accident, they started picking on my nose and then I got called ugly and big nose, dodgy nose and all sorts of things right the way through secondary school.

'By the end of my time secondary school I didn't have a single friend there. I was a complete loner at school. I used to go and hide in the library at lunchtimes.'

Struggling: Jodie spoke about her trouble with bullies ahead of a new documentary that will be airing on Wednesday night

Overcome: Jodie struggled to control her emotions during the interview on the ITV programme

When Phillip Schofield asked her if she had ever thought about taking her own life, Jodie struggled to compose herself before answering - breaking down in tears as she recalled the desperate times.

She said: 'I contemplated suicide loads of times. I wanted to be a vet and I would have gone off to university and done that and that was my plan in life.

'And I was 15 years old when I wrote in my diary that I was going to be a model and prove these bullies wrong - I'd made my mind up at 15.'

Smiling through: Jodie had appeared in good spirits as she arrived at the ITV studios this morning for her interview

And Jodie added that despite her tears, she is feeling much happier about things.

She said: 'I still get abuse now on my own social networking sites, but I'm actually the happiest I have ever been in life.'

Jodie, 33, also revealed that making the documentary was incredibly important for her.

Asked if she had hesitated when asked to do the documentary, Jodie said: 'I didn't hesitate at all. I've wanted to make this show for 10 years because it's so important.'

Scroll down to watch the trailer for her new show...

The first step: Jodie Marsh at the beginning of her transformation which showed the start of muscle definition on her stomach

She left everyone gobsmacked when she burst back on to the scene a few months ago with a beefy and bulked-up bodybuilder's physique.

But while it might take most people a year or so to develop muscles like that through a tough exercise regime and strict diet, it only took Jodie Marsh two months.

And the former glamour model has shown off the amazing transformation which took her from being toned and trim to big and beefy.

Jodie, 32, has released a series of photos that show, in chronological order, how she looked at the start of her exercise regime to how she ended up just eight weeks later.

With the help of celebrity personal trainer Tim Sharp, she transformed her body into a muscular machine, ready to enter a bodybuilding competition last autumn.

Hard work: As the weeks go on, Jodie begins to get more muscular...

.. until her beefy body is ready for her first professional bodybuilders competition

Jodie's transformation is shown in a documentary that airs next Tuesday night on men's lifestyle channel DMX.

It will show Jodie preparing for the competition with behind-the-scenes footage, laughter, tears and her sheer determination at achieving her goal.

She's doing well: As the weeks went on, her stomach got more defined and taut...

... until she was ready to show off her new look to the world

It will also show exclusive interviews from within the sometimes secretive world of Body Building including shocking stories of steroid abuse within the sport.

Jodie was preparing for the Natural Physique Association (NPA) Mike Williams Classic and Pro-Am Bodybuilding Championships which took place n Sheffield last September.

And now for the six pack! Jodie already had a nice flat stomach when she started her regime

The washboard's not far off: Jodie's stomach starts to show signs of muscle definition

And her gruelling regime saw her not only go from toned to extremely muscular, but she dropped from a size 10 to a tiny size six.

Under the guidance of Sharp, Jodie's eight-week regime saw her sticking to an incredibly strict diet, as well as cutting out nightclubs and all alcohol.

Talking about her new figure, Jodie said: 'In just 50 days I have gone from 25 per cent body fat to 10 per cent body fat, gained 8 pounds of muscle, and lost 20 pounds of fat. In 8 weeks I have achieved what normally takes 6 to 9 months.'

'This is the best I’ve ever felt, and the best my body has ever felt too.'

Jodie ended up coming fifth in the competition, but undeterred, she wowed to get further this year.

She said at the time: 'I’m really happy I’m going home with a trophy. If I can do this in eight weeks, competing against the best of the best in the UK, then what else can I achieve with more training time?

'I’m 100 per cent confident that if I had more time to train I could have placed in the top three and go through to finals. We’ll have to see what happens next year!'

How she did it: The Jodie Marsh Transformation to Bodybuilder will give audiences an inside look at how she achieved her phenomenal new figure

Her extraordinary new body has been the talk of the nation.

And now former glamour model Jodie Marsh has finally given an inside look at exactly how she achieved her body builder physique.

In an exclusive new documentary, the star unveils her grueling regime for the cameras, showing how she trains alongside her coach Tim Sharp for hours every day to create her phenomenal ripped look.

The Jodie Marsh Transformation to Bodybuilder – Her Secrets Revealed will air in two parts exclusively On The Active Channel.

Jodie began her quest for the ultimate six-pack in 2010, spending up to eight hours in the gym per day, and eating a strict high-protein diet.

She went from a size 12 to a size six and lost an incredible 20lb of body fat.

The controversial star showed off her muscular new body when she entered the Natural Physique Association (NPA) Mike Williams Classic and Pro-Am Bodybuilding Championships in October, shocking the country with the dramatic change.

It seems Jodie believes it was all worth it though, and despite having reportedly not slept with a man for two years, claims that her new look has proved a magnet for prospective admirers.

Proud: Jodie insists that she has never been happier with her figure, and the hard work has been worth it

Jodie explains on the show how she has found happiness through bodybuilding: 'When I unveiled my new body, people were like wow she looks amazing, she has worked so hard.'

'All it takes is just a few weeks on a diet and I will be ripped to the max. I have dropped 2 sizes.'

Results: Jodie says that she has dropped two dress sizes, enthusing that she is now 'tiny and rock hard'

'I am so proud of what I have achieved in the gym. I love how I look. I feel like I can achieve anything. I was soft, now I am rock hard with a six-pack,' she enthuses.

Active Channel Presenter, Tim Sharp, persistently praises the achievements of Jodie: 'What a phenomenal body she’s got, ageless and toned.'

'Your body has changed so fast. Within 3 months you have completely changed and transformed your body and stomach,' he tells her.

An improvement? Jodie claims that she feels younger than she did when she was 22, and feels '100 times better'

Tim adds that 'people were quite shocked with the way you looked,' to which Jodie responds: ’I look better now than I did when I was 22. I look and feel 100 times better.'

Jodie is a vegetarian and relies on 'protein shakes everyday’ to ensure she is getting the protein her stomach muscles require to repair and tone.

'My diet is low in fat and high in protein. I eat allot of fruit, veg, corn, protein shakes and improvise with protein shakes such as protein powder ice cream and protein yogurt.'

Mentor: Jodie trains with her coach, celebrity fitness guru Tim Sharp

'This diet really helps me build muscle and lose fat. Whenever I feel hungry I snack on rice cakes, herbal tea, fresh mint tea and drinks lots of water.'

Tim Sharp, who says on his website that he can help you achieve a six pack 'in weeks', worked with Jodie to achieve her dream figure.

He says: 'I can transform your body in weeks NOT months or years! I have 24 years experience as a trainer so your assured to be inspired and you will get amazing results fast.'

Pretty in purple: Jodie Marsh covered her bulky bodybuilder's physique under a chic grape dress as she attended the premiere of Michael Jackson: The Life Of An Icon

Since debuting her new bodybuilding figure to the world a month ago, Jodie Marsh has taken every opportunity to flaunt her muscles wherever she goes.

So it came as some aesthetic relief last night when the former glamour model covered up her ripped physique under a very pretty purple dress as she attended a film premiere in London last night.

Marsh, who is known for her outlandish dress sense, looked very demure in the grape-coloured frock, that ended below her knee and which she teamed with nude peep-toed heels with studded detail.

And although the dress was tight-fitting, it clung to her buff frame perfectly and made her look very feminine.

Her hair, usually scraped back from her face in a high ponytail, fell softly round her shouders, her sleek fringe giving her a much softer look.

Marsh, 32, was attending the launch of the DVD Michael Jackson: Life of an Idol at the Empire cinema in Leicester Square.

Much better: Jodie's muscular arms and many tattoos were still on display but she looked much more feminine in the purple frock

Letting her hair down: Jodie's brunette locks were loose and framed her face as she ditched the scraped back ponytail for a softer do

Clearly a big fan of the late megastar, Jodie, who has a tattoo of the King of Pop on her arm, took to her Twitter page before the event to announce that she was going.

She wrote: 'On my way to Michael Jackson World Premiere!!!!!!! His mum & family going to be there! So so nervous but excited all at same time.'

Later she added: 'I am the biggest Michael Jackson fan in the world and I'm at the premiere with his family. Awesome.'

Standing tall: Her shoulders back, Jodie looked in great shape, her months of hard work and dedication clearly paid off

And, once inside the cinema, she tweeted: 'Oh shit. Premiere hasn't even started & I'm in tears. As a Michael fan this is so emotional!! Everyone here loves him so much!!'

The film, directed by David Gest, covers Michael's tragic life from his childhood up until his death, offering insight from Gest's in-depth knowledge of the late star and his upbringing.

Family: David Gest, who directed the film, and Michael's brother Tito were also at the premiere

Amateur body builder Jodie Marsh has been enthusing non-stop about how her muscular new body has turned her into a man magnet.

And if these pictures are anything to go by, she meant every word.

The 32-year-old was locked in an amorous encounter with a clubber outside Nu Bar in Essex last night.

Chance encounter? Former glamour model and body builder Jodie Marsh was locked in an embrace with a mystery man outside Loughton's Nu Bar last night

Giggling as she wrapped her formidable biceps around her mystery man's neck, the model pressed herself up against his chest as she leaned in for kiss after kiss.

Her good-looking catch looked in equally high spirits, smiling as he leaned down to meet her lips.

She was casually dressed in a short sleeveless black dress with a striped skirt and red collar, her feet bare and her long dark hair loose.

The former glamour model also struck a few cheeky poses with a nearby policeman.

Jodie leaned against the officer, raising one leg provocatively as she shot a sultry glance over her shoulder.

Come with me? The pair giggled as they held hands, Jodie not appearing to mind her bare feet on the cold ground

Anyone watching? Jodie and her good-looking catch didn't appear to mind the flashing cameras, and shared a tender hug

The bemused policeman took it with god humour, smiling nervously as the body builder showed off her assets by his side.

Jodie arrived at Nu Bar with her mother and father after watching a friend of hers in a boxing match, but they left early.

TOWIE cast members Jessica Wright and Joey Essex enjoyed a Friday night out at the same club/

Jodie has enjoyed a huge ego boost since taking up her new lifestyle, even seeing an improvement in her love life as a result.

Looking keen: Jodie's companion seemed totally engrossed in their clinch

She told The Sun earlier this month: 'I have never attracted so much interest from blokes in my life. It's been a real eye-opener. For the last two years I went through a complete drought of men.'

'No one was chatting me up. I despaired of ever having a boyfriend, or even a date, again. But since I became a bodybuilder, I've suddenly got about 50 guys interested in me,' she continued.

Jodie, who has dated stars including Fran Cosgrave and Kian Egan, as well as experimenting with the same sex in a brief lesbian phase, added to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning today that she has already picked up a few phone numbers from her first championship.

Evening officer! Jodie tore herself away from her mystery beau to strike a few poses with a nearby policeman

She said: 'I'm single but the bodybuilding men are gorgeous. When you walk into a bodybuilding show you don't know where to look.

'There are these gorgeous men with the best bodies you have ever seen in your life. I took about 5 phone numbers!

The model has also taken advantage of her new confidence to strip off for a naked photo shoot for The Sun, to be revealed tomorrow.

She said of the experience: 'I love feeling sexy and I can honestly say this is the most proud of my body I've ever been. I absolutely love how I look now and would run naked across a crowded street if you asked me to!'

Winning him over? The policeman started to laugh as Jodie clutched her own backside

'A couple of years ago, I hated my looks so much I stopped going out. Magazines had pointed out my cellulite and other flaws to the point where I struggled to take off my clothes if I was with a guy.'

'Then I took up bodybuilding and I've never looked back. Now I'm lean and while I know my body isn't perfect, I'm happy in my skin.'

Jodie Marsh does a very bad job with her make-up for a night at the Ivy

By Marcus Barnes

Time to face facts: Jodie Marsh sported a harsh make-up job for a night out at the Ivy restaurant in London

A few weeks ago Jodie Marsh unveiled her ultra-buff new body that she has quietly been working on over the last few months.

The general reaction to the pictures was one of disgust, though she also got a pat on the back from some observers.

Nevertheless, last night, the attention was placed firmly on Jodie's face rather than her body as she stepped out at the Ivy restaurant sporting an awful make-up job.

Undercover: The former glamour model wore a chic, fitted black dress with matching heels and handbag for her evening out in the west end

With her buffed up physique hidden away under a chic black dress, the former glamour model could have maintained a demure image on her night out.

Instead she appeared to have applied her make-up with a trowel, sporting bright red lipstick and heavy black eyeliner together with a rather pale foundation.

With the three elements combined, and Miss Marsh pulling a series of oddball faces, it made for quite a sight.

Clowning around: Jodie's make-up job took the attention away from her muscular frame

A shame, because the all-black dress/heels ensemble looked great on her.

After the Ivy, Jodie headed over to Stringfellows for some post-dinner entertainment courtesy of the strip clubs exotic dancers.

The 32-year-old has been back in the limelight since unveiling her ridiculously bulky body, which she has been entering into bodybuilding competitions.

Speaking to Heat magazine this week, Jodie explained that she has been training as a body builder with her coach Tim for three years.

Chic and unique: The 32-year-old leaves Stringfellows in London's Covent Garden area

She insisted that it wasn't a bid for attention or fame, stressing: 'No, this is where people get me so wrong.

'When I was at school I wanted to be a vet or a lawyer, I didn’t want to be famous.'

'I got bullied at school for being ugly and that is why I wanted to be a model because I thought I could prove to the bullies and to myself that I wasn’t ugly. It is not attention seeking.'

Happy with her image: Jodie insists she's content with how she now looks having originally become a model to beat her childhood bullies

The new direction her career has taken has clearly given her a huge confidence boost.

'I feel proud when I look in the mirror. I still can’t believe it’s my body. Like, when I look at my abs, I’m just like, f****** hell, I love it so much! I’m the prettiest I’ve ever looked,' Jodie enthused.

Naturally aware that the muscular look isn't to everyone's taste, Jodie continued: 'If you’re not in the bodybuilding world it is scary, but to me it’s normal. I think I still look really feminine.'

Jodie explained that she achieved her astonishing physique thanks to a high protein diet during training.
