Miss Armenia 2012, Anna Arakelyan ~ dailyceleb

Last night at the Academic Theatre of Gabriel Sundukyan the contest "Miss Armenia - 2012", the winner of which was recognized the Yerevan Anna Arakelyan. It is planned that Arakelyan represent Armenia at the contest "Miss Universe - 2012", in which Armenia will participate for the first time.

The competition was attended by 17 participants aged 18-24 years. "Vice-Miss Armenia" was the 18-year-old Katherine Abrahamyan from the city of Abovyan, in third place - 17-year-old Anita Gabrielian from Yerevan. The contest "Miss Armenia" was not conducted in Armenia for 5 years. The last time it was held in 2007: "Miss Armenia - 2007" was the Margarita Sarukhanyan. So far, nine were organized beauty contest "Miss Armenia", the first time he passed in 1996, and was recognized as the winner Karine Khachatryan.

Anna Arakelyan was crowned Miss Armenia 2012 on Tuesday evening, April 10, 2012 at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theatre in Yerevan. Anna is 20-year old and stands 1.73 m, and she will be Armenia’s first representative ever in the Miss World 2012 pageant to take place in Ordos, Inner Mongolia in August, 2012.
