...And then the legs came out: Michelle Keegan and Brooke Vincent swap their long gowns for super-short frocks at soap awards after party

Showing some leg: Fresh from winning the award for sexiest female, Corrie's Michelle Keegan, left, changed into a sequined Aztec-design frock while her co-star Brooke Vincent also chose to go short
Their legs had been hidden away beneath long gowns at the soap awards themselves.
So when it came to the after party, Corrie actresses Michelle Keegan, 24, and Brooke Vincent, 19, made sure their hemlines were hitched above their slender knees.
The pair had managed to battle through the Great British weather and into London's swanky Cafe de Paris for the bash without damaging their hair or make-up - a feat considering the driving rain and wind.
Although Michelle, who won sexiest female at the awards, did lament on Twitter that the weather would cause a hair malfunction.
Stunning: Earlier Michelle, left, had collected her award in a midnight blue gown that hugged her slim figure while Brooke, right, dared to bare nearly all in a floor-sweeping purple number
She wrote: 'Me n @RooKeegs on our way!!! Why the HELL is it raining???!!! #frizzyhair' before posting a picture of the pair.
Earlier Michelle had looked stunning in a midnight blue spangly gown for the awards themselves while Brooke had braved a purple, floor-sweeping dress with plunging neckline by Gorgeous Couture that left little to the imagination.
Michelle anticipated she would be feeling the celebrations today after tweeting: '@fearnyx thanks Hun!!!!! No jäger just vodka! Hahaha! Hangover tomorrow... Fact! Xxx'
Meanwhile this morning, Brooke confirmed she was feeling worse for wear on the micro-blogging site.
Beauties: Corries actress Sacha Parkinson, left with Brooke, right, wore an eye-catching spotty dress complete with very on-trend banana print
'Someone needs to shoot me I'll buy them the gun,' she wrote, later adding that she was off to Oxford 'for a roast and a sleep :)'.
She wasn't the only one who had a good night. Brooke's former on-screen lesbian lover Sacha Parkinson was also at the bash.
Having missed the official photographs, the 19-year-old actress just made it in time for the awards themselves before letting her hair down at the after party.
This morning she tweeted: 'Feell roughhh!!! Sorry I didn't make it in time for pictures last night! But ended up making the awards luckily! No red carpet for mee! Woo!'
All white now: EastEnders actress Danielle Harold, left, looked suitably girly in a champagne figure-hugging dress with sequins, while, right, TOWIE's Lauren Pope, right, chose black for her after party outfit
Love birds: EastEnders actors and real-life couple Tony Discipline and Jacqueline Jossa cut a sophisticated dash in black tie
Thumbs up: Former TOWIE star Mark Wright chose a spotty hanky and corduroy jacket for the after party
Meanwhile, Aaron Livesy, who plays Danny Miller in Emmerdale, celebrated winning the best actor gong alongside three gorgeous girls and what looked like a bottle of vodka at the nightclub.
EastEnders actors and real-life couple Tony Discipline and Jacqueline Jossa also went along, although they looked like Hollywood royalty in sophisticated black tie, compared to some.
TOWIE members past and present were also out in force. Mark Wright, wearing an odd combination of corduroy jacket with spotty hanky, gave photographers the thumbs up.
He later left the party a bit bleary eyed with Sacha Parkinson. The pair got drenched as they boarded a rickshaw for a quick ride home.
The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Pope complained about the traffic on Twitter before she got to the venue.
Lioness in the making: Amy Winehouse's goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, seen with Waterloo Road actor Ceallack Spellman, poured herself in to a tiny pink dress with retro pattern at the after party
V good: Emmerdale's Aaron Livesy, far right, gets to grips with three gorgeous girls on his table at Cafe de Paris after winning the best actor gong at the awards
She wrote: 'Omg stuck in traffic tryin to reach a cluuuuuub, its so hot in hurrrrrrrr! We just wanna get to cafe de paris n danceeeeeee!!'
The blonde bombshell, who wore a black, tasseled mini skirt, later wondered how she came to be in Fabric with fellow TOWIER Chloe Simms.
Amy Winehouse's goddaughter Dionne Bromfield and Waterloo Road actor Ceallack Spellman were happy to pose for pictures at the party. Singer Dionne, who is signed to Winehouse's Lioness record label, poured her slim figure into a tight pink dress with retro pattern.
Perhaps it was the fault of the weather but the older soap stars seemed to stay away from the after party.
Bromance: Corrie's Oliver Mellor, left, and Ian Puleston Davies, right, show their affection for each other at the party
There was no sign of sexiest actor winner Scott Maslen, who plays screen hunk Jack Branning in EastEnders.
At the awards he told whatsontv.co.uk that winning the gong was an awkward label to bear.
He said: '...as a 40-year-old male, I go fishing and a lot of my mates, anglers, they're hardcore and I get ripped. Every year something happens and I have to live with it.
'But thank you I really appreciate you putting me through that in my personal life, that pain!'
There was also no sign of EastEnders actress Jo Joyner, who picked up two awards for best on-screen partnership and best dramatic performance.
Members of the public were able to attend the party for a mere £20 a ticket.
