Attack of the clones: Katie Price and the winner of her reality show Amy Willerton attend a photocall today in London

Katie Price says that when she started her reality series she did not wish to find 'just another one of me.'

Despite appearances, when the glamour model and the winner of Signed by Katie Price, Amy Willerton, filmed an interview on This Morning today, she insisted: 'We are so not alike. Thank God! We are not the same at all. Even the way we dress, but I say "You're your own person and you wear what you like".'

The 33-year-old could have had audiences fooled, as the mentor and her protegée sat side by side with mirror-image hairstyles of tumbling bouffant curls and over-the-top heavy eye make-up.

Katie then went on to seemingly contradict herself, recalling: 'But when we met her she dressed like a proper old lady and I'm like, "You've just not got to dress like that!"'

Amy, 19, added: 'I was told to burn my flowery dresses straight away!'

In October, the model posed for a picture in riding jodhpurs, a denim shirt and knee-high boots - a far cry from the glamourpuss who appeared on This Morning.

'We are SO not alike!': Katie insists she wasn't looking for 'just another one of me'... but after a makeover that's just what Amy is

Amy, from Bristol, wore a short black dress, a fur coat and platform heels as she left the ITV studios with Price.

The duo appeared today at a photocall to announce Amy's official signing to her mentor's model agency.

They wore matching black catsuits with plunging necklines and fishnet panels, and bright and red orange heels.

'You're your own person': During an appearance on This Morning, the 33-year-old said she wants Amy to be an individual, and look how she wants to look

Quizzed by Phillip Schofield and Ruth Langsford on why she chose Amy, Price said: 'She stood out a lot and for nineteen she's really mature for her age and even if you've got a product, I can put her anywhere and she can just talk.

'She's got the look, the body,' Katie added. 'I mean, some people have got mixed views on Amy and I think when you first meet Amy, a lot of people are like "she's fake and she's this and that", but I think when she's nervous she talks a lot but she's really not like that.'

Of her abrupt personality, Amy said: 'I just like to get it right and when I do my work I want it to be exactly how I want it and when you're creating your own brand you have to stick with what you want to do and what you want to be otherwise you'll end up like somebody else.'

So much for individuality: But Katie also revealed that she told Amy she couldn't dress like a 'proper old lady'

Makeover: The 19-year-old says she was told to 'burn my flowery dresses straight away'

Price, who has just returned from a holiday in Miami, insisted that she is not stepping back from the spotlight herself. 'I'm mentoring Amy, she's with my company Black Sheep Management, and obviously I want people to know that I've not got into management and not doing my career - because there's still lots more that I'm doing!' she said.

'I've not finished with myself... but I'm in a great position that I can mentor someone with my expertise because I know the tricks of the trade, and I can now pass them on to Amy.'

'I've still got my underwear, my perfume, everything... there's no way, I'm anywhere near retiring. I've got my deal in America so I'm off there in a middle of the year.'

Mini-me: Katie insists that despite mentoring Amy, she is not stepping out of the spotlight herself

'She's contracted [with me], but if she wants to go, she can go, but I don't think she wants to go anywhere! That's important for anyone out there actually, when they go to agencies, you always find agencies that just want to sign them up, its like you shouldn't have that worry, its nice to have that confidence anyway.'

And the pair have big plans in store. Amy revealed: 'I'm going to Paris at the weekend, for Paris Fashion Week - we've got so much planned, a completely different angle and there is so much surprise coming because everyone thinks I'm going to be copying Kate.'
