Engagement bling: Stacey Solomon shows off her new ring as she and her new fiancé Aaron Barnham arrive back to the UK from New York, where he proposed to the singer

She's no doubt been on Cloud Nine ever since her long-term boyfriend proposed to her this weekend.

And even though it was back home to reality for Stacey Solomon today, she still looked like she was walking on air as she showed off her engagement ring.

The singer couldn't stop beaming as she walked through Heathrow Airport this morning, her arm linked through her fiancé Aaron Barnham's.

As they walked through the terminal, they both smiled at the cameras, and Stacey, 22, made sure that the lenses caught her sparkling new ring, which she proudly showed off.

They looked a little tired after their long-haul flight from New York but both were happy to stop for the cameras, their smiles never leaving their faces.

Aaron, 24, proposed to the X Factor runner-up in the Big Apple over the weekend during a romantic horse and carriage ride in Central Park.

Stacey took to her Twitter page to gush: 'I can't believe he's finally asked me...'

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Met Out Of Here! 2010 winner's publicist confirmed to the MailOnline that the couple were engaged.

Stacey and Aaron arrived in New York last Thursday for their mini-break and checked out the sights, including the Statue Of Liberty and Ground Zero.

Their happy news comes just a month after Stacey revealed she was pregnant with her second child - her first with Aaron.

The singer, who has been dating Aaron for three years, is four months pregnant with a sibling for her three-year-old son Zac from a previous relationship.

Like her first pregnancy when she was just 19, Stacey admitted her current expectant state was unplanned.

She told The Sun recently: 'We are really excited. And I'm really looking forward to everything, knowing I am sharing it with the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.'

Meanwhile, Stacey is currently hoping to hit the Christmas No.1 with a cover of Driving Home For Christmas, which currently features in the Iceland advertisements.

Proceeds from the single sale is going to Alzheimer's Research UK and to children's hospices charity Together For Short Lives.
