Cher Lloyd looks set for another top five hit after releasing a sneak peek of her new single; even if it means untipping a box of popcorn all over her ex-boyfriend and his new flame.

The Swagger Jagger singer has given her fans a behind-the-scenes look of Want U Back ahead of its release on Friday.

The video follows the lyrics of the song which describe how the X Factor star feels seeing her former beau with a new girl on his arm.


Viewers see a jealous Cher following the couple through various date scenes and disrupting their happy times.

And she can't hide her devilish grin when she throws the salty snack all over them as they sit in the cinema watching a film while geeking out with 3D glasses.

An envious Lloyd sings: 'Remember all the things that you and I did first? And now you’re doing them with her.

The 18-year-old received an early Christmas present yesterday when it was announced that she had been signed to L.A. Reid's label.

The X Factor USA judge has helped talent such as Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Usher, and Kanye West become global stars in the past.

Cher told BBC Breakfast: 'I went over to America to do some more recording and stuff like that and now I'm signed to Epic with L.A. Reid.'

She said that the music mogul finds her 'funny' and 'outgoing.'

Lloyd scored a UK number one single with Swagger Jagger and reached number four with the help of Mike Posner on With Ur Love.

Cher is currently dating hairdresser Craig Monk, who will be hoping not to get on the wrong side of her if her actions in this video are to be believed.
