'Harper's turning me grey': David Beckham says the worry of having a daughter is ageing him

By Alanah Eriksen

He showed she is the apple of his eye when he tattooed her name on his collarbone soon after she was born.

But that doesn't mean Harper Seven isn't giving David Beckham a few grey hairs - literally.

The football heart-throb showed he was human after all as he spoke about getting older.

Growing old: David Beckham graces the Wall Street Journal Magazine cover, telling the publication his daughter was making him turn grey

'Got my first grey a few years ago, and a couple more since we've had the little girl,' he told the Wall Street Journal Magazine.

'I definitely feel different than I did 10 years ago.

'It takes a while for the Achilles to warm up. Once I've had my coffee, I'm good.'
The 36-year-old graces the cover of the magazine, striking a pose reminiscent of Auguste Rodin's The Thinker sculpture.

David, seen over the weekend, claims he is going grey

His fashion designer wife Victoria was obviously very proud of the sexy picture as she shared a link to the srory on her Twitter page, along with the comment: 'AMAZING!!!! X VB'.

The England legend was seen uncharacteristically losing his cool over the weekend at Real Salt Lake's manager Jason Kreis at the Home Depot Stadium in Carson, California.

As his three boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz looked on, the LA Galaxy star was seen pointing in his face and had to be pushed back as other players joined the fracas.

David also talked about Harper while promoting his new fragrance, Homme by David Beckham, recently in Beverly Hills.

He said the three-month old was already sleeping through the night and is "a lot calmer" than his boys were at that age.

Harper's three brothers are also on dad's side when it comes to her eventual dating life.

Beckham says he plans to be 'overprotective in every way possible' and his sons will be 'exactly the same'.

He says his boys will take her to and from her dates, and he will answer the door when she gets home.

David also told WSJ that the riots in London were 'disgusting'.

'The problem is, there is a minority of youth today in England who are not scared of authority. If they steal something, they are not worried about the consequences.

'When I was a kid growing up I respected elders, I respected the law. If I was on a bus and an elderly lady got on, I would stand up and let her sit down. That doesn't happen these days.

'We've got the Olympics next year and these pictures are being seen all around the world. It makes me feel physically sick.'
