Kate and Harry, getting on wellie: Prince and Duchess choose matching footwear to watch William play football

Great minds: Harry and Kate take a stroll in their boots
The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are not exactly known for sharing sartorial tastes.
But it seems they do both have a penchant for £300 leather-lined wellington boots.
While watching her husband Prince William from the sidelines of a football match, Kate committed a rare fashion faux pas when she turned up in the same green wellies as her brother-in-law.
The luxury boots were made by 80-year-old French bootmaker Le Chameau, which specialises in upmarket country attire.
On its website, it boasts that the footwear has ‘full-grain leather’ lining for ‘warmth and comfort’ and is made using the ‘finest craftmanship’.
Prince Harry seemed unconcerned by their matching footwear, however, and was seen laughing with the Duchess as they stood on the edge of the pitch on an estate near Sandringham.
They watched William win the 11-a-side football match alongside villagers and estate workers at Castle Rising, owned by Tory peer Lord Greville Howard.
Kate managed to look stylish from the sidelines in a £1,500 outfit. She wore a £695 toscana sheepskin jacket from one of her favourite retailers, L.K. Bennett.

She also kept warm in a £355 almond-coloured wool jumper from Alice Temperley’s Notting Hill label, Temperley, London. Miss Temperley is a popular designer with the Middletons and created the emerald dress which Pippa Middleton wore to her sister’s wedding reception in April.
To complete this look, Kate hid her long, wavy hair beneath a cowboy-style hat and showed off her figure in a pair of skinny jeans.
Her casual clothing was a long way from her Christmas Day attire the following day when she wore a long, plum-coloured coat, matching hat and £1,900 earrings for a church service in Sandringham.
Meanwhile, Kate and William’s wedding day kiss on the balcony of Buckingham Palace has been named the nation’s favourite TV moment of the year in a poll.
