Lady: Singer Lady Gaga arrives in Los Angeles from Sydney looking elegant in a moody yet feminine outfit


She's never been one to adhere to the usual comfortable in-flight clothing most passengers travel in.

But after boarding her flight out of Sydney wearing a leather gown and enormous floppy hat with a peekaboo hole, Lady Gaga's appearance as she arrived at LAX looked downright normal.

The singer emerged from her flight in Los Angeles looking elegant and feminine in a form-fitting dress, pantyhose and heels after changing mid-flight.


Gaga looked rather sombre compared to her usual taste in the moody get-up, which included towering Christian Louboutin heels, a hat and Louis Vuitton case.

She looked like she was emulating the clichéd look of a Mafia wife with the black outfit, long red talons and oversize sunglasses.

It is a rare sight for fans to see the 25-year-old in such regular clothing; the bizarre get-up she wore leaving Australia was far more commonplace in Gaga's wardrobe.

The singer looked a little glum after her long-haul flight, despite telling her 11 million Twitter followers that she's landed to the exciting news that her Monster Ball concert special had been nominated for five Emmy awards.

The past 24 hours haven't been all positive though. The singer's account on YouTube has been shut down after she allegedly breached copyright laws.

Gaga's account, which has received a staggering 1.6 billion views, is currently creating fans with the message: 'This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's copyright policy.'

According to Time Out Tokyo, it was the video that Gaga posted of her performance on Fuji TV programme SMAP x SMAP in Japan that caused the breach.

In addition, Lady Gaga is currently the target of disability groups who are outraged by her use of a wheelchair as a prop during her Sydney show this week.

During the performance at Sydney Town Hall, Gaga wheeled herself on stage to sing her song You and I. She has previously used a wheelchair in the music video for Paparazzi.

In a statement to RadarOnline, Jesse Billauer, founder of the Life Rolls On Foundation, fumed: 'I haven’t seen Lady Gaga’s performance, but respect her artistic expression as an artist.

Since this isn’t the first time she has used a wheelchair in her performances, I invite her to learn more about the 5.6 million Americans who live with paralysis.

'I extend a personal invitation to Lady Gaga to attend one of our Life Rolls On events where quadriplegics and paraplegics surf, skate, and snowboard, so she can see how much is possible beyond a wheelchair.

'Maybe that will be most shocking to her of all. They, like me, unfortunately, don’t use a wheelchair for shock value.'

Fashion obsessed: Victoria Beckham has reportedly ordered Christian Louboutins for her baby girl


Queen of couture tots Suri Cruise had better watch her immaculately clad back - because a new fashion princess is about to hit the celebrity scene.

And her mother-to-be Victoria Beckham is pulling out all the stops, even enrolling the help of top designer friend Christian Louboutin, to ensure that her baby girl will look flawless from head to tiny toe.

Victoria has reportedly asked the French designer to create a unique custom pair of baby pumps for her fourth child, which will include the label's trademark red soles.

According to The Sun, Victoria has been excitedly building a wardrobe for years in anticipation of having a daughter, of which the new 'miniboutins' will surely be a feature item.

Preparations for the birth have clearly taken their toll on Victoria, who missed the arrival of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Los Angeles, which was attended by her husband David.

The footballer apologised for his wife's absence, telling Prince William: 'Victoria really wanted to come but she is just so tired at the moment.' He added that she sent both William and Catherine 'Lots of love'.

There had been rumours circulating that Victoria had already given birth, despite her C-section reportedly being booked for tomorrow. David laughed off the stories, joking: 'I turned to Victoria and said: “Did I miss something?”'

David added that there wouldn't be long to wait: 'One way or another, fingers crossed, she’ll be with us in the next few days.'

Naturally, a stop at a coffee shop demands nothing short of full on costume for Lady Gaga.

The 25-year-old singer turned heads as she paid a visit to a local Starbucks in Los Angeles today, clad in a customary outlandish outfit.

Never one to miss an opportunity for self-promotion, the star was wearing a Born This Way T-shirt - which also acted as a kind of skirt.

She completed the look with sky high Christian Louboutin heels, black fishnet tights, a gold studded jacket and a standout red hat.

The singer has currently on a promotional blitz promoting her new album, which rocketed to the top of the UK charts yesterday selling more copies than the rest of the Top 10 put together.

With more than 215,000 records sold in the first week, her gravity-defying second album was the biggest mover for an album so far this year, the Official Charts Company said.

Famed for her eye-catching, sometimes outrageous, outfits, she said: 'I feel so honoured to have the highest first week sales in the UK this year.

Meanwhile, in the States, the star is poised to sell over one million copies of the LP in it opening week, Billboard has predicted.

She was initially set to move around 800,000 copies, but an Amazon offer that saw it sold for 99cents for two days has helped to send it over the 1.15m mark.

Kim Kardashian and Victoria Beckham are just two of the famous fans of the hottest, and indeed highest, shoes in Hollywood and now Emma Roberts is the latest star to try on the style for size.

Teetering along in her Lady Daf heels by Christian Louboutin the 20-year-old actress strutted her stuff shopping in trendy Larchmont Village in Los Angeles yesterday.

Emma, the daughter of Eric Roberts and niece of Julia Roberts, paired the sky-high shoes with a pair of skinny jeans a plain grey T-shirt and a smart black jacket.

The Nickelodean star was seen jumping out of her car in the skyscraper shoes and chatted to a friend as she entered the Library Boutique store.

And it seems that whoever was on the phone kept her in deep conversation because when she was still chatting away when she left the store after making a purchase.

Emma, who is five foot two inches, looked trim and tall as she left the boutique thanks to her trusty heels.

The extremely high mary jane style shoes boast a 16cm heel and a platform sole of 5cm and are THE shoes of the moment, with a whole host of celebrity fans squeezing their famous feet into them.

And it’s not just the heels that are high on these bad boys as prices for the calf leather version in beige or black start at a sky high £635.

A pair of black python leather heels as worn by Kim Kardashian will set you back at least £1145 but if you are looking for something mid-range, the water snake version in metallic silver costs £825.

Fashionista Victoria Beckham hasn’t let pregnancy get in the way of wearing her favourite shoes and she has been spotted in the black and the nude versions of the shoe.
