Sandwiched between strangers and breathing recycled oxygen, let's face it, no one is going to emerge from a flight ready for their Kodak moment.

That is, unless you're Pixie Lott.

The blonde pop princess looked typically picture perfect as she touched down in Japan after a long 12-hour flight from her home turf in London.

The 21-year-old had fashioned her locks into a style worthy of a Disney princess, with a large fish plait crossing her forehead like a crown.

Her make-up had clearly just been done, whether by an assistant or of her own doing cooped up in an on-board toilet the size of a broom cupboard.

As Pixie smiled for the camera, a fresh-coat of lip gloss glistened - only ever looking that perfect after first application and before eating or talking.

The BRIT-nominee flew into Tokyo this morning, ahead of her performance at the Spring Groove 2012 music festival at Makuhari Messe on Sunday.

This is Lott's second trip to Japan in a matter of months, and she is to be joined on the bill at tomorrow's event by David Guetta and LMFAO.

The Mama Do singer was clearly overwhelmed as she landed, greeted by loyal fans requesting her autograph and hoping for a snapshot.

Just shy of one million Twitter followers, Pixie wrote: 'Just landed in Tokyo what a welcome!.. Kawaiiii thank you for your gifts.'

Pixie was referring to 'kawaii', which is a Japanese word meaning 'cute.'

And it seems the pretty chart-topper is enjoying the local dialect, showing off her grasp of the vernacular as All About Tonight topped the charts.

She later added: 'Konichiwaaa (meaning, good afternoon)! Thank you Tokyo FM midtown studio #allabouttonight this weeks no.1!'

Bum note: Pixie Lott reveals more than planned as she performs at the Michael Forever concert at The Millenium Stadium in Cardiff


She's renowned for her thigh-skimming dresses that often reveal plenty of leg, but Pixie Lott revealed a little more than normal during the Michael Jackson tribute concert this weekend.

The singer, 20, took to the stage in an ultra-short silver dress that threatened to ride up and expose a lot more flesh than both Pixie and her audience anticipated.

And, during her energetic performance it did exactly that - flashing her backside to the assembled Jacko fans at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday night.

Unaware of her unintentional show, Pixie carried on performing several of her hits with gusto - all the while her bottom was on display in front of revelers young and old.

Meanwhile, she was similarly dressed at the Radio 1 Teen Awards the following day.

Pixie Lott closed the show, singing five songs including hits Cry Me Out, Boys And Girls and All About Tonight.

She also sang her new single What Do You Take Me For. She told fans: 'This song is brand new. I've only sung it a couple of times. Please sing along if you know the words.'

The singer wore a head band with cat ears which matched her black shorts and sparkly vest.

Her new single What Do You Take Me For featuring rapper Pusha T is released on November 7 and her highly-anticipated album Young Foolish Happy on the same date.

What Do You Take Me For is described as an intoxicating blend of funk samples and warping basslines and produced by dubstep star Rusko.

The track features rising rapper Pusha T, who recently signed to Kanye West's label Good Music.

To coincide with the album release, Pixie will perform her only full live show of 2011 at the Kentish Town Forum on October 19.

Pixie released her debut album Turn It Up in September 2009 and it has been flying high since with now over a million copies sold.

She received three Brit nominations in 2010, selling over two million singles and notching up two No1s.

Strut your stuff: Pixie Lott used the pavement as her catwalk when she arrived at London Fashion Week


Pixie Lott looked like she was hoping to be more of a model than a celebrity who sits on the front row when she arrived at London Fashion Week.

The 20-year-old singer strutted her stuff around the cobblestones of the courtyard at Somerset House when she showed up to watch the Jaeger show today.

She used the street as her catwalk and flashed those famous legs before entering the tent where the show would be taking place.


Pixie was wearing a navy and red striped dress with a pair of classic black brogues.

The flat shoes were a good choice to help her navigate around the uneven cobblestones when she was snapped upon her arrival.

Pixie had been wearing a blue blazer but removed it before she arrived at the venue to show off the full effect of her outfit.

The dress and shoes were simple but stylish, however bearing in mind that Somerset House would be acting as host to a variety of glamorous people, the singer decided to jazz up her outfit a little.

She wore a black sequined necklace which gave the effect that there was a collar on her dress, wore her cropped blonde hair sleek and added lashings of red lipstick to the look to top it all off.

She looked excited to see the show as she made her way in and sat eagerly in the front row waiting for the catwalk to begin.

It was a busy fashion event which saw even those in prime position in the front row having to squeeze up as much as possible to allow all of the most important attendees to have a great view of the models as they sauntered down the catwalk.

As well as enjoying the show the singer has been in a fantastic mood recently following last weekend's announcement that her song All About Tonight had reached the number one spot in the charts.

She also attended the opening of the Westfield Stratford store this week, where she took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony alongside Mayor of London Boris Johnson.

Short but not so sweet: Pixie Lott struggled to contain her modesty in her short dress as she used a Boris bike in London yesterday

Her signature style is short and sweet but Pixie Lott probably should have adapted her look earlier today.

And as the singer took to a Boris bike around the capital her short dress proved problematic on the pedals.

Pixie, 20, was dressed in a short black dress with a white collar for the bike ride with her boyfriend Oliver Cheshire.

The singer teamed her dress with a pair of grey socks and black brogue shoes but struggled to conceal her modesty as she rode around London.

She had a Louis Vuitton bag slung across her shoulder and donned a pair of sunglasses for the ride.

And she certainly seemed to pick up some pace as she raced around with her bobbed blond locks being blown back in the wind.

At one point Pixie even appeared to be trying to ride side saddle as she positioned her leg across the bike.

The blonde singer and her boyfriend, who did not suffer the same problems in his chinos, were both showing off impressive tans.

On Wednesday night Pixie attended the WellChild Awards held at the Inter-Continental Hotel in London.

As she took to the red carpet alongside the likes of Prince Harry the singer once again sported her signature style in a short navy and blue print dress.

Pixie is gearing up for the release of her latest single All About Tonight.
And to celebrate the single Pixie is inviting her fans to join her in a midnight webchat.

Speaking to her fans in a video she said: 'All About Tonight is released on iTunes this Saturday and to celebrate its release, I'm going to do a live webchat from my actual flat at midnight, so I'd love for all of you to get involved.

She might be most well-known for her vocal talent and musical styling, but Pixie Lott is also causing waves in the fashion industry.

After three hugely successful collaborations with high-street store Lipsy, Pixie is teaming up with the company once again for a fourth range of clothes.

In this exclusive shot obtained by MailOnline, Pixie is seen donning a sexy purple cut-out dress as she shoots the campaign for the new range.


While details of the new collection have yet to be released, various dresses can be seen hanging in the background - including a black and pink strapless minidress and a black and gold floaty number.

The outfits certainly show Pixie has evolved since her first ranges with Lipsy, when she concentrated on festival chic outfits with playsuits and shorts among the most popular items.

In the last collection, Pixie tried to mesh two different styles of clothing - Pixie Party, featuring more evening-style outfits, and California Dreaming, the festival-led more daytime collection.

New look: It seems the new range represents a new grown-up side of Pixie


Talking about the range, Mama Do singer Pixie said at the time: 'I'm having such great fun turning my fashion ideas into another exciting range and am overwhelmed with the response so far.

'This time I've taken my inspiration from the floaty feminine florals of the '70s to the neon brights of the Miami party scene and what I love to wear out with my friends.'

Pixie's new range for Lipsy, which will launch in stores and online at Lipsy.co.uk at the end of September, comes as it's announced the singer has been signed up by model agency Select.

Talking about her new venture, Pixie said: 'I've always loved experimenting with different looks and styles through work - it's one of the perks of the job!

At the D&G party she showed off her choppy new bob haircut, but as she took to the stage in Stoke it seemed Pixie Lott was intent on drawing attention to the bottom half of her body.

The singer, 20, performed in a pair of tiny lycra hotpants, which were more like knickers than shorts and was happy to display a lot of leg and a bit of her bottom.

But given her slim figure and trim legs she certainly didn’t have to worry about any wobble as she jumped around the stage.

The singer, who has teamed up with Lipsy designing her own range of clothing for the brand, has just released the video for her latest single All About Tonight.

Short shorts: Pixie Lott showed off her figure in a pair of tiny hotpants on a day out with boyfriend Oliver Cheshire yesterday


Pixie Lott can rarely be accused of overdressing.

Pixie, who has just returned from Los Angeles, took full advantage of the warm weather yesterday as she wore a pair tiny leopard-print hotpants which left very little to the imagination as they skimmed her bottom.

But, doing her best to stick to the legs or chest rule, Pixie covered up her top half in a long-sleeved white shirt which she kept fully buttoned up.

And, to add a bit of colour to her outfit, Pixie also wore a pair of bright orange brogues.

Pixie was out for the day with boyfriend Oliver Cheshire and tweeted fans she was thoroughly enjoying the sunshine.

The pair went for a drink at the local pub before indulging in some window shopping at an art store in west London.

Pixie and Oliver have been spending as much time together as possible after Pixie recently returned from Los Angeles, where she had been recording tracks for her new album.

She is also set to follow up her debut film with a starring role in UK movie Sweet Baby Jesus, with Bette Midler, Robbie Coltrane and Sean Brosnan.

The comedy, slated for release this year, stars Pixie as 'a pregnant girl named Mary who goes back to Bethlehem Maryland at Christmas time'.
