She blew millions on her first failed attempt at a music career two years ago.

But fame-hungry Heidi Montag isn't giving up her desperate quest to be a pop star.

The former reality TV star and self-confessed plastic surgery addict is releasing a new album titled Dreams Come True.

Making music again: Heidi Montag has released a new EP titled Dreams Come True

The pneumatic 25-year-old has released a promotional image for the EP which shows her wearing hot-pink cut-out swimsuit.

And she's also plugging her four tracks - Your Love Found Me, Party Is Wherever I Am, No More and Overdosin - on her Twitter page.

Heidi, who is still married Spencer Pratt, attempts to emulate Britney Spears in the heavily auto-tuned bubblegum pop songs.

Before and after: The former Hills star transformed her look after having 10 procedures in just one day

But if her previous attempt at music is any indication, it's unlikely she'll enjoy the same success as the Toxic star.

Heidi released her first album called Superficial in 2010 which bombed.

She admitted last year that is was a financial disaster for her, saying: 'I spent $2 million on my music career, and it didn't happen for me.'

But rather than cut her losses, she instead hired a new producer and manager.

Heidi and her husband were once some of the biggest reality TV stars in the States with their role on The Hills.

However their popularity plummeted after a string of ridiculous publicity stunts including a fake split.

Spencer last year signed on as a undergraduate in a political science degree at the University of Southern California.

Penniless and past their prime: Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt on life after fame

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Regrets: Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, pictured last year, say they regret the path their reality careers has taken in recent years

Their staged paparazzi pictures, ridiculous red carpet appearances and increasingly bizarre storylines on reality show The Hills gained them plenty of headlines in recent years.

But Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt - aka Speidi - admit now that their 'famous for being famous' career could never last.

The couple are now broke and living at Pratt's parents' house.

Cute couple: Speidi, pictured back in 2007 before the plastic surgery and bizarre behaviour, say they never actually broke up and their 'divorce' was a publicity stunt

In an interview with the Daily Beast, they admit their break-up, divorce petition and eventual reconciliation was all staged in a last-ditch effort to hold on to their fame.

'At that point, we were pulling our last cards,' Spencer, 27, tells the website. 'We felt the hot-air balloon losing its gas. And at that stage, our income would be selling the photo that would go along with the divorce.'

Banned: After a fight with with producers Spencer, pictured in the MTV show, was asked to leave

Speidi earned thousands at one point for creating staged photoshoots with paparazzi but as interest in them and their bizarre antics dwindled they began to run out of funds fast.

Montag, who turns 25 next month, estimates she spent $2million on her ill-fated pop career, while her husband has a $1million wardrobe.
