She might have been hoping for a night in the spotlight but Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock had to take a backseat to her bandmate on her birthday night out in London on Thursday.

While the brunette singer looked elegant as she stepped out for her 21st birthday, Jesy Nelson stole the show, turning up in a knockout gown.

The brunette star, who's slimmed down since appearing on the X Factor last year, decided to show off the fruit of her labours as she joined bandmates at the Madison Restaurant.

Wearing a floor length, sparkly black dress, with a low-cut neckline and a thigh-high split, Jesy showed off her enviable curves.

Wearing her hair sleeked back in a ponytail and with large, smokey eyes, the talent show winner showed off her transformation.

Looking like a star, Jesy breezed out of the restaurant, although she had to deal with a male flasher as she headed to her car.

While Jade Thirwall opted for a loose-fitting sequenced black dress, the birthday girl went all out.

Starting the night in a floor-length, lace ball gown, Leigh-Anne was the picture of sophistication, but as the night progressed the popstar clearly wanted to show off a bit more of her slim figure and donned a see-through beaded dress, showing off her black bra.

The pop starlet decided to invite a host of X Factor contestants past and present to her party, perhaps with the intention of imparting some wisdom on the newbies.

X Factor wild card hopefuls Times Red showed up to the bash, as did Jake Quickenden, who didn't make it through to live shows.

Last year's wild card Amelia Lily is clearly still friends with the girl group and left the party hand-in-hand with another of last year's finalists, Craig Colton.

It's almost a requirement on a first trip to Los Angeles - a bus tour of movie stars' homes.

And those who paid out for a tour around Beverly Hills yesterday cetainly got their money's worth, when they stumbled across the rare sight of David Beckham wearing just a pair of pants as he shot a new underwear campaign for H&M.

The footballer grinned sheepishly as he caught sight of the bus, which appeared to be full of tourists, while making a dash for his car following the shoot.

Beckham, who was wearing just a small pair of dark green underpants, shared a joke with the busload as he was spotted on location in Beverly Hills, California.

On Monday, the 37-year-old confessed that he favours 'tighty-whities' over more loose-fitting boxers.

Speaking at the Time Warner Cable Sportsnet launch in El Segundo, David told Celebuzz: 'I mean, I like tighty-whities. Someone asked me about tighty whities the other day, and I love them!

'They’re comfortable. I think they feel great, especially when you’re playing soccer, as well. It’s [comfortable]. But I wear boxers as well.'

David's debut Bodywear collection introduced nine underwear styles when it launched in February.

Speaking at the Time Warner SportsNet launch party, he added to Us Weekly: 'She's great. She's been running around for a few months now, so we're all chasing her and catching her when she falls. It's great to have another lady in the house.

cheeks. She just recoiled a bit and looked shocked after the first kiss. I don't think she really wanted that kind of greeting.'

Liam told Examiner: 'Louis Tomlinson from our band stood next to me p***ing himself.'

Wearing a retro-style bikini that is covered in fishnet and daisies, the Victoria's Secret model can be seen gazing into the distance as her hair blows across her face.

In another image, Miranda can be seen showing off her midriff in a sequined crop top while a checked shirt is tied around her waist.

The model was shot by various different photographers for the shoot, as she shared her beauty mantras with editor-in-chief Jess Blanch.

'It had to be her,' Jess writes in the opening pages of the October/November issue.

'Our homegrown issue was always going to need someone who would help us celebrate our roots and we chose Miranda. Why? Well, she’s mega, obviously, but besides the attributes that have made her one of world’s most recognised supermodels, it’s her story that shows her as a shining example of what we breed in the antipodes.

She was recently spotted out and about with baby Flynn and is thought to still be Down Under as she spends quality time wither family.

Miranda married Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom married in the summer of 2010 after they began dating in late 2007.

She is known for her long gorgeous brown locks.

But it may well be that Paris Jackson has chopped them off.

As the 14-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson has posted a picture of herself with a dramatic shorter do.

Pixie-crop: Paris Jackson appears to have cut her hair into a shorter cropped hairstyle much like Miley Cyrus's new hairdo, or is she just wearing a wig?

In the snap, uploaded to Twitter and Instagram, the teenager is seen with a very short crop which is also lighter than her usual hue.

Paris also looks doll-like as she opens up her big blue eyes, which have been made up with a heavy application of eyeliner, very wide.

It appears that the picture was taken in a hairdressing salon, however there is some mystery surrounding the new style.

Paris seemed to be getting some negative feedback about the move as she tweeted on Friday: 'That awkward moment when everyone is saying no to doing the right thing…… if i want to cut my hair and donate it I'd appreciate SOME support.'

She later posted the snap, accompanied with a caption: 'how about this one?' leading to speculation that she may have just been wearing a wig.

Her look is also very reminiscent of Miley Cyrus, who recently received huge criticism when she cut off all her hair into a platinum punk-style blonde crop.

In Paris's snap the teen is also seen posing very similarly to Miley, when the 19-year-old Hannah Montana star first introduced her haircut to the world, again, via Twitter.

The last time Paris was seen with her long locks was when she hit a mall in Century City, California, earlier this month.
The teen was out with a group of friends including a mystery handsome young man.

The daughter of the late Michael Jackson - widely recognised as one of the greatest performers in history - recent spoke out about growing up and her struggle to carve out her own identity.

She told US Glamour magazine: 'I love my dad, and I'm proud to be his daughter. I just don't think the title "M.J.'s daughter" fits me.

Paris' decision to pursue an acting career - which has so far seen her cast in fantasy film Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys - has been controversial among her family, with some supporting her, but others reportedly trying to keep Paris and her brothers, Prince Michael I, 15, and Prince Michael II, 10, out of the spotlight until they are at least 18.

Hinting at the tension within the Jackson family, she said: 'A lot of people don't want me to do it, but Aunt LaToya believes in me. She heard me play a little guitar and sing, and she started clapping, "Oh my God, oh my God."

But for Kim Kardashian, she saw no problem in wearing the super sexy outfit to a family dinner to mark her the anniversary of her father Robert's death.

The reality star, 31, highlighted her voluptuous figure on Sunday in the ensemble for dinner with her siblings and mother in Miami.

While other members of the famous brood went casual for the evening meal, Kim used it as an excuse to go for all-out glamour.

The star, who brought along her best pal Jonathan Cheban, is currently in Florida to film spin-off Kourtney And Kim Take Miami with her older sister.

Kourtney also dressed to impress for the meal at Prime 112 restaurant.

On that day nine years ago Kim, Kourtney and Khloe’s father Robert died of esophageal cancer.

..He is one of the most flamboyant contestants to have entered this year's X Factor.

So it was no surprise Rylan Clark put on a display of epic proportions upon learning he was through to the Live Finals of the competition on Sunday night's episode of the ITV1 talent show.

In what was perhaps the most dramatic reaction of all time, the 23-year-old Essex boy put on an Oscar-worthy performance as he collapsed to the floor in a fit of emotion.

Breakdown: Rylan Clark was left weeping as Nicole Scherzinger made his dreams come through

With his reaction to receiving the good news from judge Nicole Scherzinger verging on the ridiculous, the 23-year-old wannabe was left rolling around on the floor unable to speak as he dealt with his emotions.

Choking back his tears, Rylan let out a series of gut-wrenching sobs as Nicole looked on in amusement.

Finally able to compose himself for long enough to give his new mentor a big hug, the flamboyant singer couldn't seem able to believe that he was through.

'Is this a wind-up? Are you having me on?,' he questioned.

But despite his somewhat over the top reaction to the news, Rylan insisted he isn't the 'joke' entry of the competition.

He said: 'I think at the beginning of this process everyone looked at me as a bit of a joker and then people couldn’t be more wrong. I had to go in there and show that I can be serious and be a singer.

'I haven’t really got that much back home, I want to turn that around I want to be achieving something rather than keep being a let-down. I have got nothing to go back to now. I’ve got too much riding on this.'

Meanwhile, Nicole said of her act: 'Rylan my love… he’s all spikes and sparkle, we need diva music and empowering diva anthems for him. He would definitely have his own audience.'

And although Twitter went into a flurry of activity with users poking fun at the model's reaction, it would seem Kitty Brucknell - who reached the Live Shows of last year's X Factor - has found something of a soulmate in the eccentric hopeful.

And Tulisa Contostavlos opted for Ella Henderson, Lucy Spraggan and Jade Ellis.

But after sacking her former stylist, Jessie J can usually be found wearing more sophisticated, elegant outfits, saying she had initially needed a style to catch the public's attention.

The 24-year-old singer made the admission as she posed for a stunning photoshoot in Britain's Elle magazine.

She said: 'That really scary, spiky, cartoony kind of thing, that was me two or three years ago.

'Now, I'm definitely more embracing of myself as a woman and my sexuality and just being a bit more feminine.

'I've always wanted to look like this, but it didn't grab people's attention. And in the beginning you've always got to do something that's going to make people go, "Who's that?" '

And Jessie said she is so thrilled with her new look, that she is even hoping to use her fashion sense as she embarks upon a collaboration with designer Stella McCartney.

She said: 'I just spoke to her and we're hopefully going to work together soon. She's an incredible designer. There's one playsuit, black, white gold belted. I'm definitely growing into fashion.

'It’s about confidence. Maybe I was a bit scared. I was a bit insecure about my body, about being too grown up.

'But I was a girl and now I’m a woman and I want to make sure I enjoy it.'

Jessie also spoke about her personal life, and insisted that she isn't 'defined' by her sexuality and just wants to be with someone who makes her happy, whether that is a man or a woman.

She told Elle magazine: 'It's one of those things where they labelled me. Sexuality shouldn't define anyone. It doesn't define me.

'Love should be at the core of what you do. I'm only interested in finding love now.'
And when it comes to her relationships, Jessie said she 'definitely' sees marriage and children in her future.

She said: 'I definitely want to get married and have kids and it’s just about making sure that the person who I meet and that I do that with is right for me.'
