She is hardly seen out in public anymore but today Leslie Ash ventured out in London.

The 52-year-old star was spotted arriving at the press preview day of the RHS Chelsea Flower show at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Ash was joined at the event by her husband Lee Chapman but neither of them seemed to have made much effort with their appearance.

Making an appearance: Leslie Ash and her husband Lee Chapman arrive at the press preview of the RHS Chelsea Flower show

The Men Behaving Badly star appeared to be sporting rather grey blonde hair and was wearing hardly any make-up as she posed for a photo with the former footballer.

Chapman was also modelling grey hair and a scruffy looking beard as he accompanied his wife.

Ash, who wore blue skinny jeans, matching trainers and a black scarf and jacket, was walking with the help of one crutch - which she has been doing since 2004.

Now and then: The actress looked grey and tired today compared to her blonde look some years ago

The star's difficulty with walking was brought on after she contracted staphylococcus aureus infection while in hospital.

However, despite receiving a compensation payout after taking Chelsea and Westminster hospital to court and stating she would not be able to work again, the actress has in fact worked since.

Will they, won't they? Ash and her former co-star Neil Morrissey have revealed they would be up for doing another series of Men Behaving Badly

After starring in Holby City from October 2009 to April 2010, the actress has revealed that she would be up for doing another series of popular sitcom Men Behaving Badly 14 years after it ended.

According to the Daily Star, Ash said: 'I would love to do it, but we will see what happens. It would be rude not to, wouldn’t it?'

Her former co-star Neil Morrissey clearly agrees, saying: 'If it did come back, I would love to do it. I think it would be fun.'
