New venture: Cheryl, currently promoting her shoe collection for Stylistpick.com, was enthusiastic during her appearance on ITV's Lorraine this morning

She was much ridiculed by fashion followers for THAT infamous X Factor USA outfit, but Cheryl Cole says she doesn't give a hoot what anyone else thinks.

'I'm not being funny, but everybody else started wearing orange and purple. It's a fact. I love those trousers.'

'I don't give a s*** if everybody else didn't like them,' the 28-year-old said.

'I don’t care, I like what I wore, else I wouldn’t have worn it,' she emphasised.
Cheryl claims she doesn't slavishly follow fashion.

'I look at a trend and think "that's not going to work for me",' she explained to Mark Hayes on ITV's Lorraine this morning.

'I think you can tap into things but I'm not a follower.'
