Loyal? Kelly Rowland, at a photocall with Amelia Lily for X Factor last night, apparently doesn't want her act to win after initially voting her out weeks ago

X Factor judge Kelly Rowland made no secret of the fact that Mischa B was her favourite act.

And now, the former Destiny's Child singer has been accused of not wanting her remaining crooner to win in this weekend's final.

She is apparently scared she will be left embarrassed if the 17-year-old takes the title, considering she voted the teenager out back in October on the first live show.

Amelia came back in the competition after wannabe rocker Frankie Coccoza left amid a drug scandal.

Kelly accompanied Amelia during her home visit to Middlesborough on Wednesday but only spent 10 minutes at her family's house, reported the Mirror.

She apparently refused to eat or drink anything and returned to her hotel suite alone.

A family friend told the paper that Amelia was worried Kelly wished she had not been brought back to the show.

'Kelly couldn’t hide the fact she didn’t want to be in Middlesbrough and seemed to spend most of her time in a hotel,' he said.

'Amelia was out all day trying to drum up support while Kelly was nowhere to be seen. The feeling is she’s not too fussed about what happens and doesn’t really want Amelia to win.'

A show source said: 'Kelly seems to feel embarrassed about the situation. She dumped Amelia, so what would it say about her expert opinion if that girl goes on to win the whole competition? It would probably be easier for her if she doesn’t win.'

Kelly flew to Germany on Tuesday to promote her album and appeared on the German version of the show.

Her spokeswoman said: “She is working outside of the show, but that is because she has got an album to promote. She is the only judge who has that.'

'But she is completely committed to Amelia, is working hard with her, and wants her to win.'

Little Mix mentor Tulisa Contostavlos joined her girls during a visit to member Jesy Nelson's hometown of Romford, Essex, before travelling up to South Shields, hometown of Jade Thirwell.

And Gary Barlow accompanied Marcus Collins to Liverpool, saying he had an 'amazing homecoming'.

'We were at Marcus’s mum’s house and I ended up with a baby on my knee and his nana and grandad giving me stick.'

Text mad: Kelly and Amelia reportedly sat in silence at the party and played with their phones

After a photocall for the final last night, Kelly and Amelia sat together at a party at The Box.

But an onlooker said: 'They barely spoke and were both sat texting. There was clearly no love lost between them.'

So it's shocking the teenager attending, also considering she is too young to gain entry on a normal night there.

Wearing a see-through black blouse and a black mini skirt, Amelia smiled and posed before entering the infamous venue.

Kelly, 30, was dressed more conservatively in a loose grey wool top and black leggings.

The Box has a reputation for being full of sexual and chemical excess with many rumours of customers having sex and snorting cocaine off their tables.

With regular celebrity clientele including Gwyneth Patrol, Courtney Love and Christina Aguilera it is easy to see why it has become so popular.

Even royals Prince Harry and his cousins Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have partied there.

The club once featured an act which performed a sex act on himself with the neck of a vodka bottle.

Meanwhile, Amelia does appear to have some support.

Middlesborough football boss Tony Mowbray has thrown his weight behind the finalist.

He said: 'I'm a big X Factor fan. Everyone in the Mowbray household watches the show and we will be cheering on Amelia this Saturday, as will everyone at the club.

Friends: Kelly made no secret of the fact Misha B was her favourite

'We all watch the show on the coach when we are travelling home from away matches and we are all supporting Amelia to win the contest.

'It's causing great excitement and we wish her every success.'

He added: "Our family watch religiously - in fact, I missed half of a Barcelona match the other week to watch, that's how much we watch the X Factor in our house.

'For a young girl of 17 she's got a quite amazing voice and she's shown great personality and strength of character after being out the competition to being back in it.

'Let's hope she can pull it off at the weekend.'

The Mayor of Middlesbrough Ray Mallon also added his support.

In his column for The Northern Echo newspaper, he said if Amelia won we would see 'a genuinely talented and popular young person getting a reward for their hard work and application'.

Mallon, a Queen fan, believed her version of The Show Must Go On, was 'every bit as good as the original' adding 'I doubt if any singer, let alone one starting out on their career, could have achieved that'.

Amelia's Dad, Barry Oliver, said he was grateful for the support.

He told Middlesbrough FC's official website: 'We're relaxed about this weekend and there's no pressure on her because she's in the final and whatever happens now is a bonus.

'If anyone has been on an emotional rollercoaster it's Amelia and she has handled it really, really well.

'I'd like to see her win for the area more than anything because it would be good for Teesside and it will make it extra special coming at Christmas time.'
