The former Dawson's Creek beauty dressed down in her sweats, swapping red carpet frocks for her gym attire during an early morning work-out.
The mum-of-one, 32, looked happy and at ease in her black leggings, garish trainers and hooded top.
After her exercise routine, Katie strolled around the shops in Beverly Hills with a female friend.
The girls paid a visit to Teuscher Chocolates, where Katie bought some sweet treats - presumably for share with daughter Suri and husband Tom
